What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new initiative by the Australian government. It is a way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers.

“Just For You” is an approved disability service provider registered under the NDIS Scheme, which is delivering Care services to people living with disability. We deliver a range of services and programs that may have been chosen and detailed in participant’s NDIS Plan.

We also link clients with mainstream community activities as well as disability-specific activities and services. Our disability programs offer a wide range of support services and group activities to help clients engage with family, friends and the community no matter what type of disability they have.

Who are we?

Just for you is an NDIS provider working with people with disability to make it easier for them to access services they need under the NDIS support service.

We offer the following services:

0101 Accommodation/Tenancy

The NDIS Accommodation/Tenancy provides and assists Participants with housing and tenancy services, NDIS housing investment, renting in the private rental market, public housing, and community housing options.

0103 Assist Prod-Pers Care/Safety

Providers registered for Assistive Products for Personal Care and Safety can help with the following support categories: Assistance with daily life, Assistive technology, Consumables, Home modifications.

0106 Assist-Life Stage, Transition

Assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transitions, and supports, support Connection. Assistance for participants to implement their plan by strengthening the ability to connect with the broader systems of supports and understand the purpose of the funded supports and participate in the community. (Support Coordination).

0107 Assist-Personal Activities

Daily personal Activities, including for people with high needs, involving:

  • Assisting with and/or supervising personal tasks of daily life to enable the clients to live as autonomously as possible. These individual supports can be provided in a range of environments, including but not limited to, the participant’s own home.
  • For people with higher needs, supports provided by a worker with additional qualifications and experience relevant to the person’s complex needs.

0108 Assist-Travel/Transport

This is especially so for clients whose disability makes it difficult to access transport. We can provide funding for clients to access taxis, rideshares, community vehicles, and other appropriate transport methods. Depending on support level, a support worker can accompany the client with their travel needs through public transport or their own vehicle. Clients can also choose to develop skills in using public transport independently.

0115 Daily Tasks/Shared Living

Assistance With Daily Tasks/Shared Living focuses on developing and enhancing domestic skills that allow clients to live autonomously. It can also be delivered within shared living such as units or host family arrangement. For example, how to live well independently and assist with the basic daily tasks like getting yourself ready each day, preparing healthy wholesome meals and enjoying life to the fullest, making you independent even if you are living in the shared accommodation.

0116 Innovative Community Participation

The innovative community participation program aims at creating a communal interaction between people with disabilities and the larger community wherein they can interact with others in a social setting and partake in activities of their choice. For example, recreational activities where you can decide if you want to go ahead and this include skill building activities, group activities.

0120 Household Tasks

This is the service for clients who may not be able to do household chores alone or who may need extra supervision. These tasks may include cleaning of the house including mopping and vacuuming of the floors cleaning of windows and other general cleaning duties, ironing your clothes, changing your bed sheets, assisting with shopping of groceries, maintenance of your backyard including cutting the lawn and cleaning the garden.

0123 Assistive Prod-Household Task

Assistive products for household tasks are specialized aids and equipment that will help you in cooking, cleaning, washing, and home maintenance. In addition, providing state-of-the-art equipment like alarms, doorbells, adapted clocks, programmable memory aids.

0125 Participate Community

We strongly believe that by encouraging our clients to participate in community activities, it can improve their mental and physical wellbeing, as well as increase self-fulfilment, communication skills, and confidence. More benefits of Community Participation include: The provision of accessing public transport for people with disability can reduce their dependency on taxis and associated costs Disable-friendly shopping centres can make them independent and shop for themselves, reducing their reliance on others or only a few specific shops.

0136 Group/Centre Activities

Creating enriching friendships and connections come from interacting in recreational activities. As a provider we understand that you may not be living a fulfilling life when you are suffering illness, disability or limited mobility but with the support of our staff we will help connect you with a range of activities and opportunities within your community for example, social groups, fitness classes, Arts & Crafts Groups, Movie outings, Trips to local attractions & Shopping Excursions.
